okay so today someone was talking about me and said, "oh katie the goth girl that hangs out with the lesbian and the trendy asian." way to go man. if you're gonna stereotype someone at least try to get it right!

when i think of goth i think of this:

okay so i've been known to wear moto jackets and doc martens occasionally

it's not like they sell those at urban outfitters and forever 21 or anything

oh wait... they do.

and when i think lesbian i think:

so tell me do these two girls look like a lesbian and a goth girl (respectively)

yeah that's what i figured

oh and trendy asian i think:

well at least it more amusing/imaginative than what i usually hear (those indie girls)

hahahahh why are people so uninformed. we are three girls.

yes we like indie music and thrift stores

yes we like independent and foreign movies

yes we tweet and blog

yes we like to make fun of bros and mnstrmers

but we are just three girls

one happens to be asian, one happens to be bi, and one happens to read lookbook.nu/nylon a little to much (they convinced me to buy the punk stuff!) nevertheless we are three normal, average, suburban teens

we don't fit stereotypes (although i realize my previous sentence was full of them)

well get the fuck over it

oh but i'm sort of hoping that instead of being the token 'indie' friend

i'll now be introduced as the goth girl

this might actually be fun!
